A napkin is table towel or washcloth is a rectangle of fabric used in the table to clean the mouth and fingers while eating. Napkin is usually small and sometimes folded into intricate patterns and shapes. The word comes from Middle English, French borrowing the table – cloth covering a – table and adding the diminutive suffix kin. Conventionally, the napkin is often folded and placed on the left of the place from the outside fork parameters. In a restaurant environment or in the lounge bar of a catering business, this can be folded into more elaborated shapes and displayed in the empty plates. The technical origami can be used to create a three-dimensional design. A napkin may also stay together in a package with covered by a towel ring. Alternatively, paper towels can be contained with a towel ring.
